Dr. Nathan Butterworth

I completed my doctoral thesis at the University of Wollongong in June 2020 where I studied the evolution of sexual signals in blowflies.

Between 2021-2022 I was a postdoc at the University of Technology Sydney, where my research expanded to community ecology and population genetics.

Iā€™m currently employed as a research fellow at Monash University, using both flies (Diptera) & water fleas (Daphnia) as models to study disease ecology, community ecology, and sexual selection.
